For RMTs and massage clinics
Massage therapy clinic website design
Massage has the fastest booking decision in allied health. If live availability is not obvious, the client is already on someone else's booking page. The site should be thin, fast, and built for rebooking, not for brochure copy.
Custom from $2,495 one-time. Managed from $495 setup + $249/mo · or $495 setup + $2,690/year prepaid. All prices in CAD. HST applied at checkout where applicable.

Why massage therapy websites fail to convert
These failure modes are about speed and retention, not about whether your palette feels calming enough.
Call to book instead of live availability
Massage has the fastest decision cycle of the five disciplines in this cluster. A prospective client is often booking within minutes of landing. If the next available slot is not visible and the path is call to book, they leave and book the clinic that shows live openings.
No rates page
Price comparison is quick in this market. Hiding rates behind a phone call adds friction without adding trust. Put services and rates where a mobile visitor can see them without opening a PDF.
No list of which RMTs are accepting
Group clinics lose bookings when the site treats the team as one blob. Clients pick a person. Each RMT needs their own page with their own availability or accepting status so the booker does not land on someone who is full.
No direct billing information
Many clients choose the clinic that direct bills their insurer. If that answer is missing, they call, wait, and often book elsewhere while on hold. State direct billing plainly on home and on a dedicated page.
No rebooking prompt anywhere
Acquisition is not where most RMT revenue lives. Retention is. If the site, confirmation flow, and post-visit experience never prompt rebooking or packages, you keep paying to replace clients you already earned.
What belongs on a massage therapy website
Genuinely thin and fast. Home with live booking, services and rates, per-RMT pages, direct billing, a short service set, location. That is enough for most clinics.
Where the money actually is: retention, not acquisition. Rebooking rate and package or membership structure move revenue more than traffic does. Say that openly. For the marketing system around rebooking, see marketing for massage therapists.

Home
Live booking and next availability above the fold. Direct billing teaser. Thin copy. Fast load. This page should book, not narrate.
/services/
Services and rates
One clear page for modalities and prices. Expand only where demand is real.
/team/[rmt]/
One page per RMT
Own URL, photo, short bio, accepting status, and their own availability or booking link.
/direct-billing/
Direct billing
Which insurers you direct bill, what the client still needs to bring, and how receipts work when you do not direct bill.
/deep-tissue/, /prenatal/, /cupping/, /sports/, /lymphatic/ (examples)
Short service set
Only pages where you have real demand. Do not invent a catalogue of modalities you rarely book.
/location/
Location
Address, parking, hours, map, booking. Align with Google Business Profile.
CMTO and what you can and cannot say
Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario are regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Website copy is advertising. Testimonials are not a free trust tactic. Therapeutic and medical claims need care. Scope and consent language matters, including draping and sensitive-area treatment information where relevant to the services you offer.
- No client testimonials presented as advertising.
- Avoid medical or therapeutic claims you cannot support within RMT scope.
- Consent and expectation language belongs in the booking and intake path, not only in a buried policy PDF.
- Service pages should describe what the appointment involves without promising clinical outcomes.
We structure RMT websites so claims, consent cues, and booking paths are handled carefully. That is descriptive design practice, not legal advice. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario is the authority on its own standards. Allied Edge is not providing legal or regulatory advice. Confirm anything material against current CMTO standards before you publish.
Booking and intake integration
Jane and Noterro are the stacks we see most often for RMT clinics. Online booking is the conversion path. If the widget is hidden, or next availability is not visible, the site failed its only job.
Put booking on home, on every RMT page, and on every service page you keep. Intake and consent should complete before the visit when the platform allows it. After the visit, the experience should prompt rebooking. The website is part of that loop, not only the first acquisition click.
