For physiotherapy clinics
Physiotherapy clinic website design
Patients book the clinic that answers direct billing, WSIB, MVA, and book-without-referral in the header, then lets them book in one tap. A beautiful site that hides funding and buries Jane loses to the clinic that puts those facts first.
Custom from $2,495 one-time. Managed from $495 setup + $249/mo · or $495 setup + $2,690/year prepaid. All prices in CAD. HST applied at checkout where applicable.

Why physiotherapy websites fail to convert
Physio buyers are funding-first and mobile-first. Sites fail when they lead with stock wellness photography and leave insurer, WSIB, MVA, and booking answers for later.
For most local physio searches, the map pack decides the shortlist. The website has to support the Google Business Profile and convert the click. Condition pages are what let you compete in organic results below the pack, not another About Us essay.
No insurer list above the fold
The first questions a physio patient asks are practical: do you direct bill my insurer, do you take WSIB, do you take motor vehicle accident claims, and can I book without a doctor referral. Clinics that bury those answers three scrolls down lose bookings to the clinic down the street that puts them in the header.
No WSIB or MVA page
WSIB and MVA patients arrive with paperwork, timelines, and funding rules that do not fit a generic Sports injuries blurb. Dedicated pages that explain how your clinic handles those pathways reduce front-desk phone time and convert people who already know they need a clinic that understands the claim process.
Booking takes more than two taps on mobile
Physio demand is often decided on a phone between work and childcare. If booking requires hunting through a menu, opening a contact form, or calling during business hours, the patient books the clinic whose Jane link is one tap from every page.
No condition or program pages
Low back pain, post-op knee and hip rehab, rotator cuff, pelvic health, vestibular and concussion care, and sports injury are different searches. A single Services list gives Google nothing specific to rank and gives patients nothing specific to trust. Condition pages are how the site competes in organic results below the map pack.
Google Business Profile treated as separate from the site
For physiotherapy, the map pack decides most of the outcome. Hours, categories, photos, reviews, and booking links on the Google Business Profile have to match the website. Treating GBP as a side project while polishing the site is how clinics win the wrong channel.
What belongs on a physiotherapy clinic website
This is the sitemap that matches how patients actually choose a physio clinic in Ontario. Launch thinner if you must, but do not launch without funding clarity and booking on the home page.
Single-site clinics can start with home, four to six condition or program pages, fees and direct billing, one strong team section or per-physio pages, and a location page. Multi-site groups need a location URL per site early so map pack traffic lands correctly.
/
Home with insurers and booking above the fold
Direct billing teaser or insurer list, WSIB and MVA signals where you accept them, book without doctor referral where true, and a primary booking CTA visible on mobile without scrolling past a novel of copy.
/low-back/, /post-op-knee/, /post-op-hip/, /rotator-cuff/, /pelvic-health/, /vestibular/, /concussion/, /sports/, /wsib/, /mva/ (examples)
Condition and program pages
One URL per condition or program you actually run. Clear who it is for, what a course of care typically looks like without guaranteeing outcomes, and a booking link on the page itself.
/team/[physiotherapist]/
One page per physiotherapist
Own URL, photo, credentials, interests or caseload focus, languages if relevant, and their own booking path. Group clinics live on this map.
/fees/ or /direct-billing/
Fees and direct billing
Session or assessment fee clarity where you publish it, insurer list, what you direct bill, and what patients should bring. Reduce the phone tag before the first visit.
/locations/[clinic]/
Location page per clinic site
Address, parking, accessibility notes, hours, map embed, and booking. Multi-site clinics need one URL per location so map pack clicks land on the right building.

College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and what you can and cannot say
Physiotherapists in Ontario are regulated by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Website copy, condition pages, ads, and Google Business Profile text all count as advertising. Guaranteed outcomes and unsupported superlatives do not belong on a clinic site.
Patient stories and before-and-after imagery are especially easy to get wrong. Trust on a physio site should come from clear funding information, accurate scope, clinician pages, and a booking path that works. Outcome language has to stay careful and verifiable.
- No guaranteed outcome claims on condition pages, ads, or metadata.
- Avoid unsupported superlatives about being the best clinic in a city or region.
- Handle patient stories and before-and-after imagery carefully, or leave them out.
- Titles and credentials must be accurate. Do not imply programs or specialties you do not offer.
We structure physiotherapy websites so funding clarity and condition pages do the conversion work without leaning on risky claim language. That is descriptive design practice, not legal advice. The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is the authority on its own standards. Allied Edge is not providing legal or regulatory advice. Confirm anything material against the current College advertising and professional practice standards before you publish.
Booking and intake integration
Jane is close to a default for Ontario physiotherapy clinics. The integration job is one-tap booking from every page that creates intent: home, condition and program pages, physiotherapist pages, fees and direct billing, and each location page.
Intake forms should land in the same practice workflow your front desk already trusts. WSIB and MVA pathways often need different paperwork. The site should route those patients clearly so the first visit is not spent reconstructing claim details from a vague contact form.
Keep the Google Business Profile booking link aligned with the website. When Maps and the site send people into different systems, front desk time disappears into duplicate inquiries and no-shows that were never confirmed in one place.
